Casa Vuscichè is an 1890 farmhouse, restored with respect for its history — through careful architectural restoration and sustainable choices.
Our two guest spaces — Camera di Artemisia and Appartamento Lumen — open onto a spacious shared terrace with a sofa and outdoor kitchen. This is where you arrive, stepping into a place designed for winding down.
We live on the floor below: present but discreet. We believe in hospitality that allows for exchange, when and how it naturally arises.
The house has a free, essential character — made for those who love the countryside. A place to inhabit simply, each in their own way.

Camera di Artemisia
Artemisia is a more intimate, eclectic space — quiet and unhurried. The room keeps a timeless atmosphere, with natural elements and details that echo the house's story. Like Lumen, it opens from the shared terrace, which becomes a threshold between inside and out. Inside, there's a coffee corner; in warmer months, the outdoor terrace kitchen is available for cooking. Artemisia is designed for a light, simple stay, with full access to the garden, pool, and shared spaces.
Appartamento Lumen
Lumen is a bright, open space, designed to welcome with simplicity. The apartment keeps the character of the 1890 cascinale, with essential materials and natural light moving through the rooms over the course of the day. The entrance is from the shared terrace, creating a fluid continuity between interior and exterior. It has a private kitchen, allowing for a fully autonomous stay while providing access to the shared spaces — garden, pool, and outdoor kitchen. A home from home - embracing light, silence, and time.
The Common Spaces
The shared spaces at Casa Vuscichè are designed to accompany your stay naturally, without imposition.
Our two units — Camera di Artemisia and Appartamento Lumen — host up to four guests, who share a generous terrace, a pool surrounded by green, and a garden with a barbecue area. The terrace, where the apartments open, is a lived-in space: a sofa zone, an outdoor kitchen, a place for cooking, reading, or simply being. The pool and garden complete the experience, offering quieter moments through the day.
Guests can choose freely how to use these spaces: in full autonomy, keeping their own privacy, or opening to shared moments when they arise naturally.
Casa Vuscichè is also this — a balance between intimacy and connection, in a setting of holiday apartments with pool and garden made to be inhabited with simplicity.
The Terrace.
The terrace is the heart of the outdoor house: a generous panoramic space with a six-seat table, induction kitchen, sofa lounge, and a smaller table set facing the landscape.
This is where the apartments open, into a space designed to be used freely — for cooking, reading, relaxing. The view is open and uninterrupted: the hills of Abruzzo, the Adriatic, the profile of La Maiella; on clearer days, your gaze reaches the Gran Sasso, visible from both pool and garden. The light shifts through the day, marking the rhythm from quiet morning to long sunset hours.
The rooms keep this relationship with the outside, offering natural light and glimpses of the landscape — turning a stay at this holiday home with pool and panoramic terrace into an experience suspended between sea and mountain. Even the shared spaces — garden to pool — invite you to slow down and live time more essentially.
Guests can choose their own privacy, or share moments in the common spaces. Sometimes encounters arise; other times each stays in their own time — a natural balance of intimacy and openness.

Our Garden
The vegetable garden at Casa Vuscichè is tended by Rob, who follows its rhythm carefully — from compost preparation to cultivation.
We make our own compost and use it to feed seven raised beds, where seasonal fruit and vegetables grow, cultivated naturally.
During your stay, guests are welcome to pick and taste from the garden — fresh vegetables, aromatic herbs, small fruits — leaving, if you wish, a spontaneous contribution.
Around it, the orchard opens with fruit trees: lemons, figs, apricots, apples, pears, cherries. What's available follows the seasons, making each stay different.
Casa Vuscichè is also this: a place where the garden and orchard become part of the experience, between nature, simplicity, and everyday life.

Casa Vuscichè is a place to inhabit in whatever time you have: a longer holiday, or just a weekend.
Here, days aren't shaped by schedules but by possibility. You might arrive for a few days, slow down, change rhythm — or return through the year, following the seasons. Activities arise from what's happening: working with your hands, moving, cooking, being outside. Some can be organised on request; others are simply met by relaxing at the property.
You decide. An experience that is tailored to you and your needs. Not just a pause, but time used — even briefly — that stays with you.
Outdoor Cooking
Barbecue
Between the garden, fruit trees, and changing light, you can experience an outdoor barbecue, using fresh vegetables, aromatic herbs, and fruits gathered straight from the property, alongside selected local produce.
We help with the preparation and choice of ingredients, suggesting simple, seasonal pairings. On request, we also help with the wine — favouring small producers and cantine from the area.
An informal moment between outdoor cooking, nature, and conviviality — to share together, or to live at your own rhythm.
A Letterpress Workshop
We work with a restored galley press and a SIRIO press, using movable wood and metal type, linocuts, and inks. During the experience, guests create small prints, exploring mark-making, composition, and gesture. Every step of the process is followed carefully: from choosing the paper to mixing the ink to the manual printing itself. The pace is slow — built from precision and consideration, where each detail leaves a visible trace.
A hands-on, immersive activity, suited both to those approaching letterpress for the first time and to those already familiar with artistic techniques. An opportunity to create, in which making becomes experience.

Cut Your Own Garment
A workshop by appointment that takes you inside Vuscichè's creative process.
During the experience, guests are guided through the choice of fabrics, proportions, and the early stages of constructing a tailored jacket. It's not just about observing — it's about taking part: from the gesture of cutting to the decisions that define a garment. A way of approaching tailoring and understanding the time it takes to make a piece of clothing.

Yoga Barre & Ballet Pool
Sessions guided by Diana that combine yoga, barre, and movement inspired by classical and contemporary dance — set in an open space between terrace, garden, and pool.
The practice is designed to work on balance, strength, and breath, adapting to each guest's rhythm. In warmer months, some sessions take place in the water (ballet pool), creating an even more fluid and immersive experience.
